PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

Learfield Sports' most valuable asset is its people – the men and women representing our partners and our company on a daily basis.  Client relationships are the face of our organization and the connection to the corporate community for each partner.  As with any asset, we want to make sure that we are doing everything we can to make it better, more efficient, more productive, and the best it can possibly be.  To that end, we have invested in growing our team members by creating Learfield Sports University, with the sole purpose of training and developing our people.
 
Professional Development - montage 5/12/08Learfield Sports U encompasses all things "learning" within the company.  As members join the organization, they are sent through a live, three-day Corporate Training/New Hire program.  Much of the time is devoted to sales training, utilizing one of the top professionals in the field.  Additionally, account executives and general managers continue to receive ongoing training throughout their Learfield Sports' career by attending two "Academy" (live training) events each year that focus primarily on idea sharing and creating relationships internally. 

Finally, there are ongoing opportunities for team members to continue to grow through participation in monthly On Line Round Tables and other virtual events.
 
Every program is designed to make our employees better at what they do in their current roles, as well as prepare them to take the next step in their careers.  Many of the training programs are led by our own staff members, providing them an excellent opportunity to learn by teaching.  It is our firm belief that the best and most knowledgeable people in our business work right here.  Learfield Sports invests in its people.
